Objectives

  • To enhance knowledge and to promote interest in Science for secondary school students.
  • To provide educational experience and fun through participation in online quiz platform.
  • To create the awareness of secondary school students in the importance of Science application in daily life.

Description

The quiz consists of questions that assess the students’ understanding in Science.

In the case of a student not completing the quiz within the time limit, the quiz will be submitted based on what had been answered.

Game code shall be sent to participants via email during the first day of competition, 11 December 2022.

Assessment Criteria
●  1 point for every correct answer.
●  No point given for the wrong answer.
●  Total score will be allocated according to the speed and accuracy of answers.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Science Trivia is an online quiz open to upper secondary school students (Form 4 – Form 5).
  2. Students who are interested to participate in the competition must register online though Google form link.
  3. The closing date for registration is 10 December 2022 (Saturday). The competition shall be conducted on 11-13 December 2022 (Sunday – Tuesday). Results will be released on 18 December 2022 (Sunday).
  4. Participants must participate within the period from 11 – 13 December 2022 (Sunday – Tuesday).
  5. The participants must provide accurate information upon registration.
  6. Each successful registration will be followed by a confirmation email from the organiser.
  7. Please make sure the registered email account is active and has sufficient memory storage space.
  8. The organiser shall not be responsible for poor internet connectivity which may impact the ability of the participants to compete optimally.
  9. Neither should the competition be halted should any participants experience internet connection problem or technical difficulties.
  10. Every entry is subject to the terms and conditions of the competition set by the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the competitions.
  11. Results announced by the organiser are final and cannot be challenged.
