MINGGU SAINS NEGARA KELUARGA MALAYSIA 2022
🗓️ April – October 2022
📡 Online events
🎉 Free of charge for all participation

In line with the concept of Keluarga Malaysia which has been outlined by the Honorable Prime Minister, this year the National Science Week (MSN) also supports the concept by rebranding it as the National Science Week Keluarga Malaysia (MSNKM) 2022.

In the year 2020, the conventional method of National Science Week has been completely modified where 95% of the activities and programs were held virtually. The total number of views/engagements that have been recorded from April to November is 2,482,059. This figure is by far the highest number recorded since its implementation where 88,018 were recorded in 2018 and 928,206 in 2019. In 2021, the entire National Science Week activities were implemented online. A total of 157 programs were carried out with 1,034,771 engagements.

MSNKM themed “Merakyatkan Sains, Menginsankan Teknologi” will be implemented entirely online and targeting 1.5 million participation consists of students from schools and higher learning institutions as well as the general public. MSNKM 2022 is designed differently this year where the focus area for each month will vary each month from April to October 2022.

There are seven (7) focus areas that have been shortlisted and it was selected after taking into consideration the celebration of STI-related important days each month. Each focus area should apply the cross cutting themes.
