The 1st KLESF Mentor Development Programme was held on 6 -7 November 2014 at the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Perak Campus at Kampar.
Three tracks were offered for this workshop i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Electronics/Physics/Applied Physics.
Ten (10) facilitators who are academic staff from the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science, Faculty of Science and the Centre for Foundation Studies-PJ Campus, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman conducted the 2-day workshops.
Sixty nine (69) secondary school teachers from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan, Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan, MRSM, a private international school and Chinese independent schools participated in the programme – 23 for the Electronics/Physics/ Applied Physics, 22 for the Chemistry track and 24 for the Biology track.
